FAQs
- How often can I use the travel protection? How long am I insured abroad?
Travel protection can be used for any number of trips. The insurance cover is valid for a maximum of 90 days per trip.
- Will I be charged if I don’t travel?
You only pay for the insurance days that are actually used, so you will not incur any costs with the travel protection without an activated insurance day.
- Do I have to announce my planned trips in advance?
Travel protection is real-time insurance. You do not have to tell us in advance when, how long or where you are going. The protection applies from the time your mobile phone dials into the foreign network or you return to your home network.
As a result, you don't pay unnecessary premiums if you don't make your trip or travel home earlier than planned. But you also don't risk staying abroad without insurance cover if you unexpectedly stay longer. Your travel insurance allows you full flexibility.
- Do I pay the same premium for each country?
There are two travel zones for travel coverage: Europe countries and worldwide. Within one travel zone, you pay the same premium for each country included.
- Do I have to announce my trips to the insurance company in advance?
Travel insurance is activated automatically from the moment your phone (number) is connected to a foreign mobile operator.
- How is the insurance premium calculated and how do I pay?
The insurance premium is calculated on a daily basis, i.e. for each calendar day spent traveling outside of Serbia. If you leave the borders of Serbia on the 1st of the month at 5:00 p.m., and return to Serbia on the 4th of the month at 8:00 a.m., you will be charged 4 premiums. There are two tariffs depending on which countries you are traveling to - EUROPE and WORLD. You pay the premiums together with the bill for A1 services. Each individual (daily) premium will be displayed on the A1 account.
